Operational Notes

T59 features a HUGE CCD chip with an amazing wide FoV. Matched up with the wonderful Planewave mount this telescope will deliver incredible data. Note: VERY large FITs files - 32Mb Binx1.  FITS and TIF file formats. Dark Frame calibration data is available for 900 second exposures (all calibrations are interpolated). Binx1 - Binx2.  Raw data can be found at data.itelescope.net.

  • ABG. Recommended Maximum Exposure 900 secs.
  • The Planewave Ascension 200HR mount is so accurate whilst tracking that iTelescope Admin have disabled active guidance, with a corresponding decrease in session setup time when imaging.
