Operational Notes

T9 is a wide-field imaging system dedicated to the astro-imager. The flat-field, fast focal ratio, and short focal length of the Tele Vue NP127fli is a perfect match for the FLI ProLine PL16803 camera. Together they produce beautifully sharp stars across its over 3° field of view.

T9's mechanical manual focuser has been replaced with a solid adapter and an FLI Atlas power focuser unit. This provides a rigid, flex-free connection to the imaging train and rigidly maintains the system’s optical alignment. This telescope also includes Tele Vue’s Large Field Corrector lens properly positioned at the rear of the adapter to deliver optimal star images across the field of its large-format CCD camera.

Wide Field Telescope. Typically used for Wide Field RGB / Narrowband Imaging. FITS and TIF file formats. Dark Frame calibration data is available for  900  second exposures; Binx1 - Binx2 (these should be scaled to any shorter exposures, if manually calibrating). Raw data can be found at

T9 features a high quality Large Format FLI CCD. Its advanced technology Micron10 mount allows long duration exposures without active guidance.
