Operational Notes
Deep Field Telescope. Imaging Platform. Typically used for LRGB/Narrowband Imaging. FITS and TIF file formats. Dark Frame calibration data is available for 60, 120, 180, 300, 600, 1200, 1800 second exposures. Binx1 - Binx2. Raw data can be found at data.itelescope.net.
- Recommended Maximum Exposure 1200 seconds.
- T40 is a 500mm Imaging platform utilizing a large format FLI Proline CCD. This is an Anti Blooming camera so it lends itself to long exposures on a wide variety of targets. T40 is populated with LRGB & Narrowband filters.
- Care however should be taken if using T40 for photometry as its CCD is of the ABG variety. So users should make sure they don't saturate the image as result may not be linear.
- IMPORTANT NOTES: T40 is externally Guided.
