Operational Notes
Deep Field Telescope. Hybrid Science Platorm. Typically used for RVB / Narrowband Imaging, but also carries Photometric V and I filters. FITS and TIF file formats. Dark Frame calibration data is available for 60, 120, 180, 300 second exposures. Binx1 - Binx2. Raw data can be found at data.itelescope.net.
- Recommended Maximum Exposure 300 seconds.
- T7 is a 17" Science platform utilising a large format STL11000M CCD. This is an ABG camera so it lends itself to long exposures on a wide variety of targets. T7 is populated with photometric RVB filters so it stands well in the science stakes as well as a set of narrowband units for amazing Hubble palette imaging. Care however should be taken when using T7 for photometry as its CCD is of the ABG variety. So users should make sure they don't saturate the image as result may not be linear.
- IMPORTANT NOTES: T7 is externally Guided: Please limit sub-exposure times to 300 seconds or less for best results. T7 is not recommended as a pure Imaging platform.
