There are actually two ways to override Adaptive Focus, both are ACP script directives.

#NOADAPTIVEFOCUS

#FORCESTARTUPFOCUS

#NOADAPTIVEFOCUS - Will not trigger adaptive focus during a image session.

#FORCESTARTUPFOCUS - Will trigger a focus at the start of your image session only, and can be used with #NOADAPTIVEFOCUS

If you include both directives the system will focus at the start of your session and then halt any future adaptive focus requests - similar to how the systems behaved prior to the release of Adaptive Focus.

In both cases, you will want to include these directives before the imaging directives (#interval, #binning, #filter, and #count).

How do I write my own scripts or plans to control telescopes?
