Welcome to the world of online internet astronomy @ iTelescope.Net.
We have just sent you an email that contains your login details. Please allow up to 5 minutes for this email to arrive, please also check your Inbox, Spam or Junk folders.
If you do not receive an email, please contact support@ telescope.net and we will resend the introduction email to you.
NOTE: You are more than welcome to login to the launchpad now, however please allow up to 15 minutes before trying to login to any remote telescope as we have to send your account details to each of the telescope systems.
The 'Launchpad' is your portal to the entire network of telescopes, please login to this page using your username and password. It contains all of the information you need to know from observatory availability to the lastest weather and sky conditions. You can access the launchpad via https://go.itelescope.net, we suggest you bookmark this link.
We have a series of short video tutorials on how to use the launchpad.
Our Launchpad supports Chrome, Firefox and Safari. If you are using Internet Explorer and the Launchpad formatting looks wrong, please check our Internet Explorer Compatibility FAQ.
We support a minimum of 60 second exposures on all systems, and as such, only have dark frames at a minimum of 60 seconds. In some cases you can image at lower exposure times, so please check our Minimum Exposure Times FAQ for more information.
We also use both external and internal guiding which affects optimum and maximum exposure times. For our Internally guided systems (Those on Ascension A200 Mounts), the maximum exposure time is 600 seconds. For Externally guided systems, please keep all exposures under 300 seconds. Please see our Exposure Times FAQ for more information.
For more information on Optimum and Maximum guiding for each system, please see the individual telescopes on our Telescope Information Page.
